This page is designed to give insight into my MPhys project on 'Machine Learning for Knot Theory' at the University of Edinburgh.

At its core, the project aims to use machine learning to classify knots based on various knot measurements.

This must be easy... all knots look very different... right?

Well, not quite. Knots can be shown to be the same by applying the Reidemeister moves, play Spot a Knot below to try and identify which knot is which!
